Heart Disease Prevention Lecture

An afternoon lecture at UC Irvine will spotlight the topic, "Heart Disease in Women vs. Men: Are the Similarities Greater than the Differences?"

The program is being jointly sponsored by the UC Irvine School of Medicine Heart Disease Prevention Program and the Go Red for Heart Campaign of the Orange County American Heart Association.

Who: Ezra Amsterdam, MD, chief of the Division of Cardiology at UC Davis, will be the speaker.

When: The lecture will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18.

Where: Sprague Hall 1st Floor Conference Room, UC Irvine campus.

Directions: From MacArthur Boulevard, take Bison into the UC Irvine campus, go past California Avenue, take the first left (Health Sciences Road) and an immediate left and you will see Parking Lot 83 on your right. A meter that takes dollar bills is located in the center of the lot. Sprague Hall is on the left, just behind Hewitt Hall.
