Incentive Program for New Multi-Component NIH Grant (P Or U) Submissions

The School of Medicine is pleased to announce the NIH Multi-component Grant (P or U) Incentive Program in recognition of the additional effort required by the SOM Principal Investigator (PI) to lead these large grant efforts.

Program details include:

  • Eligible faculty must have a primary appointment in School of Medicine
  • Eligible Dates of Grant Submission: 6/1/22 – 6/30/23
  • Eligible P grants (e.g., P30, P50) must have a proposed annual total cost greater than $500K

Incentive Plan Details:

  • Funded grants: an additional $10,000 for the PI
