Students participate in hands-on research projects involving nanotechnology, microfluidics, histoimmunoassays, western blot and more. They learn how researchers apply fundamental knowledge on molecular basis to develop potential cures for certain diseases. Under the guidance of faculty, students do research projects, analyze data and learn how to write a manuscript. Their research may be submitted to national meetings for presentation.
