UC Irvine's Summer Premed Program is committed to serving high school students regardless of their ability to pay. The 2014 summer program is offering fully paid scholarships to 30 qualified applicants from low-income families who attend high school in underserved areas of Orange County. Tax forms will be required prior to acceptance.
Applicants are considered on a first-come basis and the number of scholarships offered per high school is limited. Ten scholarships will be awarded for each session. The two-week sessions begin on June 16th (session I), June 30th (session II) and July 14th (session III).
The scholarship application needs to be completed in addition to the regular application. The following criteria are used to determine scholarship eligibility.
Applicants also must indicate whether they want to be considered for the summer program if a scholarship is not awarded.
